Trump Account Calculator

Trump Account Calculator

Adjust the annual contribution to estimate how a Trump Account could grow by age 18 and age 28. The calculator below includes a contribution slider, a growth chart by age, and a pie chart showing how much of the result comes from contributions versus investment growth.

Calculator Inputs

Maximum allowed annual contribution is $5,000 per child.
Employer contributions can be up to $2,500/year, but still count toward the total $5,000 annual limit.
Set to $1,000 if you want to include the federal seed amount in the example.
Default is tuned to roughly match the sample values you gave.
Used to show a “net withdrawable amount” on the chart/table.
How contribution logic works:
The annual total cannot exceed $5,000. If you set employer contribution above the total contribution, the calculator will cap it automatically. Personal/family contribution is calculated as:

Total annual contribution − employer contribution
Projected value at age 18
$0
Net after withdrawal adjustment: $0
Projected value at age 28
$0
Net after withdrawal adjustment: $0
Total contributions
$0
Employer portion: $0
Investment growth by age 28
$0
Estimated growth above contributions

Projected account value by age

The chart shows the gross projected account value and the estimated net withdrawable amount after applying the withdrawal adjustment percentage.

Age 28 result breakdown

This pie chart compares total contributions versus estimated investment growth at age 28.
