Chandigarh TGT Recruitment 2024
The Chandigarh Department of Education has released the examination schedule for the 2024 Trained Graduate Teachers recruitment scheme. This year, the exams will be conducted from June 22 to June 28. All the candidates who applied for the exam can download their hall IDs from the official site of the CDE at chdeducation.gov.in starting from June 17 to June 20. The recruitment drive aims to fill up 303 vacant TGT posts across various subjects on a regular basis.
The exam will be conducted in a written format with 150 objective-type questions and in order to pass the examination the candidates need to score at least 40 percent marks. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong attempt.
The written examination for the post of TGT (Master/Mistress) – For all subjects i.e. Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Fine Arts, Music, DPE, Maths, Social Science, Home Science, Science (Medical and Non-Medical) is scheduled for June 22, 2024, from 10 AM to 10:50 AM.
For the subject-specific posts i.e. TGT-Social Science exam will be conducted on June 23 from 9:30 AM to 11:10 AM, Science-Non Medical on June 23 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, Science-Medical on June 24 from 9:30 AM to 11:10 AM, Hindi Language on June 24 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Similarly, Punjab and Sanskrit exams will be held on June 25, English and Maths exam on June 26, Music and Fine Arts on June 27, and Home Science and DPE on June 28. No interviews will be conducted for the candidates who successfully pass the exam.
The Chandigarh Department of Education will be releasing the final answer key on July 1, 2024, and the candidates are allowed to raise objections to the answer key until July 3, 5:00 PM.
The final result date of the Chandigarh TGT Exam 2024 is yet to be released. The Chandigarh administration had begun the application process for the recruitment program earlier in February 2024. The deadline for submitting the online application was March 18 and for the fees deposition March 21, 2024.
