Alia Bhatt, one of Bollywood’s most acclaimed actors, is all set to make her highly anticipated Hollywood debut in the upcoming action thriller The Heart Of Stone. As the star cast recently gathered for an interview, Alia shared her thoughts on the difference between working in Hollywood and Bollywood.
According to Filmfare, Alia was asked about the notable differences between acting in Bollywood films like RRR and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, and her upcoming Hollywood venture. In response, Alia expressed that despite the language barrier, the essence of working on a film set remains the same worldwide. She emphasised that it is the people, vision, spirit, and intention that unite the global filmmaking community. Although the storytelling styles may differ, Alia highlighted the importance of working towards core emotions that resonate with the universal audience.
Negating the question posed about her noticing significant differences between the two industries with a “not really,” the star said, “I think a film set all over the world is the same. It’s the same people, it’s the same vision, It’s the same spirit, it’s the same intention. It’s just that the language is different and eventually the storytelling is also…it’s not the same storytelling but it has to be working towards key core emotions because that eventually connects the universal audience.”
Fans and film enthusiasts eagerly await the Student of The Year star’s Hollywood debut in The Heart Of Stone, which features renowned actors Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Alia recently attended the Tudum 2023 event, where the teaser for the film was unveiled, further heightening anticipation. With her exceptional performances and ability to connect with audiences, Alia is poised to make a lasting impact both domestically and internationally.
On the personal front, Alia and husband Ranbir Kapoor, alongside daughter Raha, have been photographed in Dubai. The couple seemed to be enjoying their time together, as evidenced by numerous viral photos of them posing with fans. Amidst her Hollywood debut preparations, Alia also has Karan Johar’s larger-than-life, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in the pipeline. Upon her return, Alia will join co-star Ranveer Singh to kickstart promotions for the film.
