ICAI CA Foundation And Intermediate 2024

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the exam schedule for the CA Foundation and Intermediate exams in September 2024. Eligible candidates can view and download the date sheet from the official website icai.org. After the registration for the exams concluded on May 1, the ICAI CA exams are scheduled to take place between September 12 and September 23, 2024. According to the official notification, the CA Foundation Examination will be held on September 13, 15, 18 and 20, 2024. The Intermediate Course Examination for Group 1 is scheduled for 12, 14 and 17 September, while for Group 2, the examinations will be held on September 19, 21 and 23.

Before the beginning of exams, the application process for the CA Foundation exams will begin on July 28 and for the CA Intermediate exams the registrations will start from July 7. The last date to apply without a late fee is August 10 for the foundation and July 20 for the intermediate. For those who miss the initial deadline, candidates can still apply with a late fee of Rs 600 until August 13 for the foundation exam and July 23 for the intermediate exam. There will also be a correction window for application details will be open from August 14 to August 16 for the foundation and from July 24 to July 26 for the intermediate.

The exams for the CA Foundation and Intermediate are scheduled to be held in the afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm for all papers. However, the CA Foundation Course exam papers 3 and 4, will be held between 2 to 4 pm.

According to further notification, the examination schedule will remain unchanged even if any of the exam dates happen to be on a public holiday by the central government, state governments, or local authorities. However, there will be no examination scheduled on 16 September due to Milad-un-Nabi, which is a compulsory Central Government holiday.

Other than the numerous Indian cities, the CA Foundation and Intermediate exams will also be held at 8 international examination centres, including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait and Muscat.
