From Alia to Mawra, stars make Christmas merrier | The Express Tribune

With Christmas behind us, social media is buzzing with celebrities sharing their most memorable moments from the festive day. A myriad of celebrities finally took a break from their hectic schedules to spend some quality time with their families.

From sharing presents to hosting extravagant dinners, the pictures are full of moments of love, laughter and goodwill. Here is a lowdown of the stars that celebrated Christmas in full swing.

1. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor

Love is considered the true spirit of Christmas and that’s exactly how Alia and Ranbir spent the occasion. While Alia was clad in a red kurta, Ranbir looked dapper in a crisp white shirt and jeans. Taking to Instagram, Alia posted an adorable photo while embraced in Ranbir’s arms. She also added a heartfelt caption to reflect on her Christmas. “It’s the best time of year with the best people in the world. Merry always from my family to yours,” wrote the RRR actor.

 

2. Mawra Hocane

Our local stars also shared pictures of their houses covered with colourful decor and vibrant lights. Mawra uploaded a picture while hugging a Christmas tree. The actor sported a red and white printed jumper and grey jeans. She kept her look casual with white kicks. Completing the festive vibe, Mawra opted for green earrings.

3. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal

Lovebirds, lovebirds everywhere on the gram this year! Actors Katrina and Vicky also shared a series of photos highlighting their festive celebrations. Carrying on with her usual Christmas tradition, Katrina’s routine included “lunch, pyjama parties and movie nights!” While Vicky only uploaded a single photograph of a Christmas tree on his Instagram handle, the picture placed on top of the decorated tree showed him hugging his wife, which didn’t go unnoticed by his fans.

4. Gohar Rasheed

Actors Gohar and Kubra Khan spent Christmas together alongside their families, with their social media boasting of various videos of them engrossed during the decorations. Other celebrities such as Maya Ali, Kiran Malik and Momina Mustehsan also posted photos of a Christmas tree on their Instagram Stories, wishing everyone a happy holiday full of love and thoughtful memories.

5. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan

A throwback to the best Christmas moments would be incomplete without mentioning Kareena and Saif. Although the couple didn’t post many photos from the occasion, Kareena took to Instagram to share a video of Saif singing with a guitar in his hands, seated beside a lit Christmas tree. She also penned down a caption with the video. It read, “The best way to Christmas is with my love playing the guitar and having my babies and best friends around. Love, light, and music to all. Merry Christmas everyone.”
