CUET UG 2024: Registration
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate Courses (CUET UG) 2024 from March 26 to March 31. Earlier, students claimed that due to technical issues like the server being down for several days and many other problems, they were not able to apply for the exam. So they demanded to extend the last date of the application. The exam will be held from May 15 to May 31.
CUET UG 2024: Correction window date postponed to April 2
According to the schedule of the National Testing Agency (NTA), the window for corrections in the application for CUET UG 2024 was set to remain open on March 28 and 29. But following the extension in the application deadline, the application correction will remain open on April 2 and 3. Candidates who have filled out the form will be able to make corrections to their application form.
CUET UG 2024: TEST
As per reports, the NTA will administer the CUET UG 2024 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from May 15 to May 31. The detailed schedule will be released soon. The exam is said to be held in hybrid mode. Through this facility, candidates from remote places will be able to appear for the exam close to their homes. It will be conducted in three shifts: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., 12.30 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
To be eligible to participate in the CUET UG 2024, candidates must have completed their class 12 exam of study or be preparing for upcoming class 12 exams in 2024. Candidates from the general category must have received at least 50 per cent, while candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories must have received at least 45 per cent in the examination.
However, this year, candidates will be able to choose six subjects, unlike last year, when candidates were allowed to choose 10 subjects. The exam will be held online in 13 languages.
