CSIR UGC NET 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) commenced the online registration process for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) 2024 exam on May 1. Candidates can register for the CSIR-UGC NET 2024 exam by visiting the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. The deadline to apply for the CSIR-UGC NET exam is May 21, also, the last date for paying the mandatory fees is May 23 up to 11:50 pm.

According to the schedule, the CSIR-UGC NET 2024 exam will be held on June 25, 26, and 27 in a computer-based test (CBT) mode format. Candidates applying for the eligibility test should keep in mind that the medium of the exam paper is both English and Hindi. Furthermore, the exam duration is 180 minutes (which is three hours). The test paper will comprise objective-type questions with multiple choice answers.

The exam will have five papers: Chemical Sciences; Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences; Life Sciences; Mathematical Sciences; and Physical Sciences. The information bulletin provided on the official website contains details such as course codes, eligibility conditions, question paper patterns, fees, and so on.

NTA CSIR UGC NET 2024: HOW TO APPLY

Step 1: Go to the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘CSIR-UGC NET 2024’ link.

Step 3: Then click on the ‘New Registration’ option.

Step 4: First download the CSIR NET 2024 information brochure. Go through the instructions mentioned on the page carefully.

Step 5: Remember to click on the checkbox at the bottom and select the ‘Click Here to Proceed’ box.

Step 6: After which the CSIR NET 2024 Registration Form will appear on the screen.

Step 7: Fill out all the details in the registration form.

Step 8: To complete the process, pay the application fee and upload the documents, if required.

Step 9: Crosscheck the details and submit the form.

The CSIR-UGC NET 2024 exam fee must be paid online exclusively using a payment gateway with debit or credit cards, internet banking, or UPI. Candidates are recommended to only fill out the form once. Candidates will not be allowed to fill out more than one application form.
