CHSL 2024

Since the old One Time Registration (OTR) will not work with the new website, candidates who wish to apply for this notice must create their OTR on the new website

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently issued a notice on its official website, ssc.gov.in. The announcement states that the notification for student recruitment under the Staff Selection Commission’s Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (SSC CHSL) for those who have completed their class 12 will be released shortly.

Likewise, applications concerning this Notice will only be processed via the Commission’s newly launched website. Since the old One Time Registration (OTR) will not work with the new website, candidates who wish to apply in response to this notice must create their OTR on the new website. Applicants are encouraged to finish the One-Time Registration (OTR) process as soon as possible, ideally well in advance of the Notice for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2024 being published.

The announcement goes on to say that the application module that will be utilised in the Notice to be published on the new website will include a feature for taking live photos of candidates. The previous regime required candidates to upload a previously taken photo. This is a shift from that policy. Live photos of the candidates will be taken in the new application module. An Android device or a webcam on a PC or laptop can be utilised for live photo. Candidates should take care when photographing themselves.

SSC has issued the timetable for the SSC CHSL 2024 exam, as well as the official SSC calendar 2024. Applying online for the CHSL is only open till May 1. The comprehensive notification and application forms can be found on ssc.gov.in beginning today, April 2.
