Charli D’Amelio unveils Landon Barkers tattoo of her eye resulted from a rock, paper, scissors game

In early June, Landon Barker, the 19-year-old son of drummer Travis Barker, unveiled his latest tattoo – a hyper-realistic representation of his girlfriend Charli D’Amelio’s eye. Surprisingly, the story behind the tattoo involves a spontaneous decision made through a game of rock, paper, scissors.

During the Tamagotchi Uni Launch Party in New York City, Charli D’Amelio shared the intriguing tale of how the eye tattoo came to be.

“Basically, he was like, ‘I have to get a tattoo tomorrow. What should I get?’ And I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, you should get my face.’ He was like, ‘Really? I’ll do it.’ and I was like, ‘Rock, paper, scissors,’ and I won.”

Despite her victory, D’Amelio admits that she didn’t expect Barker to actually go through with it. So, when Barker informed her that he was getting the tattoo, she was taken aback.

“I run to Dixie [D’Amelio] like, ‘He’s actually getting it. We need to go right now,'” D’Amelio recounted. “So she drives me to his dad’s studio where he’s getting the tattoo, and we walk in, and he’s actually getting it. My only thought was, ‘You have to tell my dad that you just got this.’ But my parents thought it was cool, and so did his.”

When Barker initially shared a picture of his new tattoo on Instagram, it was difficult to determine whose eye it was. However, upon closer inspection, it became evident that the tattoo artist had skillfully captured D’Amelio’s eye from a reference photo.

“It actually really, really looks like my eye, which is crazy. But I think it’s so cool,” D’Amelio expressed with amazement.

The unexpected turn of events has certainly added a unique symbol of their relationship to Barker’s body art collection, permanently etching D’Amelio’s eye as a testament to their connection.
